Ten stories of love, hence the name "Ten Loves". I didn't use the name of any of the novels as the title of this collection because they are all equal and equally important in my mind. As for the stories themselves, I thought they would be very different from my previous short stories. They'll be more intense, they'll bleed, they'll tear, they'll break, they'll crush. It's raw love, moving so hard, like a pulse you can't even hold, don't know how to soothe, how to calm. But I liked watching it, just as I've always liked the way the daughter of the sea jumps into the sea and instantly turns to foam, then bursts and disappears. They're not forces, I think, they're explosions of love, transformations of love energy. There's so much killing and death.
